Dr Annemarie Devereux Peer Review of Final Report

Dr Annemarie Devereux has degrees in history and in law from the Australian National University and from Columbia University. She worked as an international lawyer with the Australian Attorney-General’s Department from 1995-2000 and with three United Nations peacekeeping missions in East Timor between 2000 and 2005, and then with the UN’s counter terrorism body (CTED) in New York.

Currently she is the Head/Senior Legal Officer of the UNHRC mandated OHCHR Sri Lanka Accountability Project (OSLAP). She continues to teach and research in the fields of international law, human rights law and constitutional law.
